Co-curricular Activities

The Cultural committee of the college focuses on the all round development of the students so that they can excel in the non academic sphere as well. The committee organizes various activities throughout the session. In the beginning of every session, A Talent Hunt Programme is organized to recognize and acknowledge students having diverse talents in signing, dancing, poetry, debates, speeches, arts and crafts, poster making, collage making etc. The College also celebrates Regional Youth Festival where students participate in great numbers with full zeal and exhibit themselves. 

The college celebrates and acknowledges special days and events that are of Regional and National importance in order to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness within the students and the faculty members. The college marks the occasion of Independence Day with the flag hoisting ceremony along with National Anthem and NCC Parade. Various other days are celebrated like Shaheed Divas, Teacher's Day, Hindi Divas, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, National Youth Day, International Yoga Day, International Women's Day, National Voters' Day, Republic Day etc. These events are celebrated by organizing different competitions which encompass Poetic recitation, slogan writing, bhajans, ghazals, poster making, Rangoli, Clay Modeling, cartooning and others.

 

It is said that education helps in the holistic development of a personality. To achieve this goal, not only academic but extra curricular activities are required to be focused upon. To provide students with new learning experiences and to expose them to the real world, educational tours are organized by different department of the college.

For providing moral values and enhancing mental strength of the students, spiritual talks are given time and again. To promote and create a healthy competitive environment, various State and District level Quiz competitions are organized by the college.

The College encourages and provides a conducive environment for the students to engage in various sports activities. The students actively participates in different sports activities organized at District, State and National Level and bring laurels for the college. Various Intra-college activities are organized to imbibe sportsman spirit within the students. Annual Athletic Meet is celebrated on a large level where Best  Athlete - Male and Female are awarded.
