NTPC Faridabad
The Department of Computer Applications (BCA), Shaheed Smarak Govt. P. G. College, Tigaon, organized an industrial visit to NTPC Faridabad for BCA First-Year students on 17th November2025. The visit was conducted as part of the BCA curriculum to provide students with practical exposure to industrial processes and modern technology.
During the visit, students were given an overview of NTPC’s operational structure, power generation process, and the role of information systems in plant management.
The technical team at NTPC briefed the students about real-time data monitoring, control room operations, safety systems, and the importance of IT infrastructure in large-scale industrial environments. Students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of concepts studied in networking, databases, and system management.
The visit proved highly informative and enriching, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and industrial practices. The faculty members accompanying the students expressed gratitude to NTPC Faridabad for their support and cooperation.
