One day nss camp

Shaheed Smarak Government P. G. College, Tigaon, Faridabad celebrated NSS Day with great zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of Principal Dr. C. S. Vashisht. The event was jointly organized by NSS Unit I under Programme Officer Mr. Yogesh Kumar and NSS Unit II under Programme Officer Ms. Parul.
The programme began with cultural and literary activities in which volunteers actively participated. Various competitions such as poetry recitation, speech, dance, singing, and slogan writing were organized to encourage creativity and social awareness among the students. These events not only showcased the hidden talents of the volunteers but also highlighted the values of service and discipline.
A one-day NSS camp was also conducted, where the volunteers engaged in different activities promoting the motto of “Not Me But You.” On this occasion, Mr. Yogesh Kumar delivered an insightful lecture on Life Skills, motivating the volunteers to develop positive attitudes, leadership qualities, and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, the students were assigned a SWOT activity ( Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats) which helped them reflect on self-improvement and personal growth.
The programme concluded with words of encouragement from Principal Dr. C. S. Vashisht, who appreciated the efforts of the NSS units and inspired the volunteers to continue serving society with dedication and responsibility.
The celebration of NSS Day turned out to be a memorable and enriching experience for all, instilling the spirit of service, discipline, and teamwork among the volunteers.
