Placement Cell

The Placement Cell of S. S. Government PG College, Tigaon organized a one-day training session on 02 Feb 2026 aimed at strengthening the employability and career readiness of final-year students. The session was conducted by Mr. Arun and Ms. Komal, trainers from GTT Foundation, working in collaboration with HDFC Bank Parivartan under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The training formed part of a broader transformative skill development initiative being implemented by NSDC to train youth in the hospitality and electrician/technician sectors.
The sessions were highly interactive and practice-oriented, offering students valuable exposure to industry-relevant technical and soft skills required to meet professional workplace demands.
Approximately 60 students actively participated in the program and benefitted from the training. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from the participants, who found the sessions informative and impactful.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell in organizing the program. The Administrative In-charge, Ms. Sandhya Sood, emphasized the importance of such skill-based training initiatives in preparing students for future career opportunities and encouraged them to participate actively in similar programs to enhance confidence and professional competence.
The program was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Preeti Raina, with valuable support from Dr. Pooja Singh, Dr. Nidhi, Dr. Anita, Dr. Neelam, and Mr. Anuj.
